VERDICT: This is a significant drop in class for Zabriskie Point, whose fourth-placed finish in a class 2 handicap at York last time out sets a good standard. The handicapper currently has the Charlie Hills-trained colt on a stiff-looking mark of 93, so dropping him back into novice company could be a confidence-boosting initiative. Candonomore was an eye-cathcher on his debut at that same venue in July and also warrants consideration, while Nabilov appeals on pedigree and is a noteworthy debutant.
