VERDICT: Peaceful Protest could find some improvement for the application of first-time blinkers, but a win looks a huge ask and a place may be the best connections can hope for. Macarone got off the mark with a length to spare at Beverley last month and he can go well, though an added 6lb from the handicapper means he has to give weight to Forever Eighteen. Only beaten a head in second at Newcastle last time out despite being slightly hampered at the start, the selection runs off the same mark now and another bold bid is expected.
