VERDICT: Study The Stars returned from a 317-day break to account for his five rivals when scoring over 1m4f earlier in the month and he looks an interesting contender tackling this longer trip for the first time. Considering the way he hit the line on his latest outing, it could eke out more improvement and he may be the one to beat off 4lb higher. Pons Aelius will find this a lot easier than his class 2 assignment over 2m at Goodwood, when he could only manage seventh place, and he can have a say, along with Mountain Road.
