VERDICT: Port Erin is unbeaten in two starts in handicap company having backed up a comfortable victory at Newcastle when always in control of proceedings at Ffos Las under a 6lb penalty. Now rated 8lb higher after those victories, Simon and Ed Crisford's gelding is likely to take another step forward and gets the nod to complete the hat-trick.
