VERDICT: Kingfast is hard to oppose as he bids for a third consecutive success and, given he still has scope to progress further in this discipline, a 9lb higher mark might not be enough to prevent him extending his winning sequence. Jack Hogan, who claims 5lb, being back in the saddle helps on that score. Alkhattaaf has a similar profile and rates a big threat given he showed improvement when second in a maiden hurdle at Wincanton last month, before scoring on the Flat at Wolverhampton. For Three and Ambassador are also worth a second look.
