VERDICT: Gale Force Maya has finished behind her stablemate Azure Blue on her last two starts but that filly is now a Group 2 winner and with this faster surface sure to suit, the Michael Dods-trained seven-year-old gets the vote. Get Ahead has only her second try over this trip after competing over the minimum distance for most of her career, and remains of interest. Makarova was ahead of the selection at Newmarket and further improvement is possible with that run now under her belt.
