VERDICT: Chop Val (1) is in good form and proven at this level, so sets the standard here. LE SICILIAN (8) made a quiet reappearance in his first start as a gelding but should have more to offer with the benefit of that outing and is capable of posing a threat with improved fitness on his side. Inattendu (5) is inconsistent but has a good turn of foot, which should stand him in good stead in this grade/company. He completes the shortlist along with Auenwolf (9) who has excelled at this level.
