VERDICT: The drop back to three miles can work the oracle for William Ewart after a creditable second at Stratford on his most recent outing over further. The six-year-old looks as though he could make up into a decent staying chaser and he is narrowly preferred to comfortable Southwell winner Whataboutyeh. Galante De Romay is interesting on the step up in trip, while Carlo Du Berlais needs considering as well.
