VERDICT: Johnjay made a successful handicap debut at Bath last month and he merits respect, along with Entrancement, who made a promising return to action when finishing fourth at Nottingham 31 days ago. However, preference is for Military Tycoon. Hugo Palmer's charge has looked in need of a step up in trip having been outpaced on all three of his starts over 1m and, judged on his debut run when he finished within four lengths of the now 92-rated Yaanaas, he could be well treated.
