VERDICT: Maghlaak struck over C&D in September to make it two out of three, and the four-year-old now tackles a handicap for the first time off a possibly lenient mark. However, preference is still for Stay Well, who can be forgiven his latest effort at York when he bled from the nose. The son of Iffraaj was holding his form quite well prior to that and he goes well fresh. Bad Company was a decisive winner at Epsom and is respected off 5lb higher.
