VERDICT: Demilion did well to finish second at Doncaster 17 days ago having raced freely in the early stages. He was returning from an absence that day, however, and it's likely that run has blown away the cobwebs. The Roaring Lion colt can continue to progress on the turf this season, and the booking of Frankie Dettori catches the eye. Imperial Ace makes his handicap debut from an opening mark of 90 following a brace of successes at Newcastle and Southwell and appeals as a leading contender, along with the Charlie Appleby-trained High Honour. At the foot of the handicap, it would be folly to underestimate the chances of Great Bedwyn.
