VERDICT: It has come as no surprise to see Charlie Appleby hit the ground running this season. The locally-based trainer, who boasts a terrific strike-rate with his three-year-olds on the Rowley Mile, is fancied to enhance his already impressive record with Silver Lady. By Sea The Stars and a half-sister to the classy Highland Avenue, the filly should hold all of the correct attributes in order to succeed on her debut. Ludmilla was only beaten a neck on her first start, which came here over 7f, and she can take a step forward with improvement likely. The powerful Shadwell operation are represented by Mubhijah and Rowayeh, of whom the former is preferred.
