VERDICT: An interesting race to get things underway on the Westwood, in which a chance is taken on Classy Clarets. The son of Cotai Glory might prefer further in time but there are sprinters in his pedigree and, despite a wide berth, he can give Richard Fahey a third win in this novice event in as many years. Chumbaa shaped with promise on his racecourse debut when third at Southwell and is likely to step forward. Others to note include Scoops Ahoy and Macedonian King.
