VERDICT: Spring Promise was receiving 7lb from Choisya when coming out on top in a tight finish here in February, but the latter has since run well from a mark of 84 in handicap company, so the unexposed daughter of Lope De Vega doesn't look overburdened by her opening mark of 78, with further improvement likely. Sayifyouwill won a similar C&D event in February and she must be respected raised just 1lb, along with Miss Bella Brand, who should appreciate a step up in trip having finished a staying-on second at Chelmsford last time.
