VERDICT: In a wide-open contest, a chance is taken with Schumann. Richard Hughes' charge couldn't land a blow across his three qualifying runs, the latest of those over 6f. He should be suited by the return to further, however, and first-time cheekpieces could spark an improved effort. Landlordtothestars has been running well on the all-weather recently and he looks capable of playing a part back on the grass. Others to note include Double Down and Eight Mile.
