VERDICT: Mirabello Bay is in fine form, winning both of his starts this year, and he showed his versatility in regards to trip by scoring over 1m4f here on Monday. He steps back down in distance and may well defy his penalty but he can be taken on with Deed Pole, who could find the necessary improvement now rising in trip. The son of Poet's Word has hit the line well over 1m and 7f the last twice and goes off the same mark. Beautiful Star is another to consider.
