VERDICT: An 8lb rise following a facile success at Haydock last December may not be enough to stop Fine Casting securing a double in this contest, despite having to shoulder top-weight. That win came over 2m3f and he must command respect stepping fractionally up in trip. The Kim Bailey-trained Sayadam failed to complete a hat-trick when finishing a length behind the winner in third at Taunton last month and should not be taken lightly, along with Ilanz with his latest run in mind.
