VERDICT: It's hard to see past Park Hill Dancer in this maiden hurdle, as he wasn't given a hard time over the smaller obstacles on debut at Market Rasen. He finished his race off well behind a promising type who went on to win again next time and the step up to 2m7f could bring about even more improvement. Howaya Now is having only his third start and looks to be going the right way, so he can give the selection the most to think about. Hauraki Gulf looks best of the remainder.
