VERDICT: Plumette overcame a 186-day absence when getting up to win in the dying strides over C&D last month and is fancied to go in again off only 1lb higher. Smiling Sunflower recently won over an extended 1m at this venue, which was her stable debut for Mick Appleby, but a 5lb penalty and the drop to 7f may be enough to prevent her from following up. Piffle recorded two runner-up efforts in January off similar marks and makes most appeal of the remainder.
