VERDICT: International Law finished well to take a close-up third over 1m3f at Southwell recently from a wide draw and, off only 1lb higher on this return to 1m4f, an eighth win on the all-weather could be on the cards. Gentle Fire's stamina appeared stretched by the 2m on her latest effort at the Nottinghamshire venue and she isn't taken lightly now reverting to a course she has won at the time before, despite being 6lb higher than for that success in early January.
