VERDICT: Dark Design was doing his best work at the finish when a one-length second off this mark over 6f at Chelmsford last month and could benefit from this step back up in trip to go one better today. Dual C&D winner Kenstone has slipped to a 7lb lower mark than for the latest of those victories here 13 months ago and is very interesting on his return to this venue. Completing the shortlist is Won Love, who scored with ease here last month and was far from disgraced in his bid for a track-and-trip double 10 days ago.
