VERDICT: Escapeandevade is sure to prove popular after making all to romp home by 15 lengths at Ayr last month and a 7lb rise for that success doesn't look insurmountable. However, a chance is taken on the Donald McCain-trained Word Has It, who tries chasing for the second time after falling at the first on his previous attempt last season. He's been far from disgraced in recent runs over hurdles and looks fairly treated if putting it all together. The keen-pulling Captain Quint is preferred over One Fine Man on this drop to 2m.
