VERDICT: African Dusk looks well-placed. He was disappointing when beaten favourite from a good draw last time but has been given time off, has drawn well again and has a 2,5kg apprentice claim. It is a weak field and Unsolved Riddle may take advantage. He made progress from the back on debut and is bred to enjoy the longer. Uncle Lucky showed potential again last time and confirmed that he is not just a poly horse. He has drawn ideally and could be the dark horse. Miraculous Man has blinkers and Flaming Drum has Keagan De Melo - both could show.
