VERDICT: A fairly weak contest in which a chance can be taken with the Julia Feilden-trained Arpina. The daughter of Starspangledbanner kept on well for second on her most recent run over 1m at Chelmsford earlier this month and the nature of that outing left the impression a stiffer stamina test would suit, so she should not be taken lightly back in this sphere. Princess Nieve remains unexposed and open to improvement, while Three Dons is another to note.
