VERDICT: Quick Draw was a cosy winner at Uttoxeter and a marginal drop in trip looks unlikely to stop him having a say in proceedings again, but he has gone up 6lb so a chance can be taken with Slate House. Joe Tizzard's veteran, who was last seen coming to grief at the third-last in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham in November, likes it here and is now just 1lb above his last winning mark. The Edgar Wallace is another to note dropping in distance.
