VERDICT: Paul Nicholls is no stranger to success in this contest, landing two of the last three renewals, and he appears to have another leading contender in the shape of Pic D'Orhy. The eight-year-old has been on top form this season, winning both of his starts. He was impressive from the front in the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon and is fancied to complete the hat-trick with further improvement likely. Paint The Dream must be respected, while Saint Calvados is expected to reverse Ascot form with Coole Cody.
