VERDICT: Skip James caught the eye when finishing well on debut at Fairyhouse earlier this year and having gone close again at the same venue, opened his account in a nursery over C&D in October. The son of Expert Eye may have scope for further improvement and can give weight to all his rivals. Blue News has been consistent in five outings and took well to this surface when runner-up last time, with four of these rivals behind including the promising Empty Metaphor. Dancethenightaway was reported to be coughing after her debut last month, while Angel Above is another to consider.
