VERDICT: Exciting News has the highest official rating, but does have some questions to answer after some lacklustre performances over the sticks. Lord Paramount rates a more solid proposition after making the frame at Kempton and may have more to offer over this extra furlong, but a chance is taken on Beggarmans Road. The Karl Burke-trained three-year-old is a full-brother to a decent winner over this trip and may well be up to the task at the first time of asking.
