VERDICT: Gaius was progressive on the Flat over the summer and signed off his time with Richard Hannon with an all-the-way victory at Windsor in August. He has been gelded ahead of his hurdling bow and there could be even more to come from him in this sphere. The booking of Brian Hughes on Kincade for his first start over timber is interesting and Jedd O'Keeffe's inmate warrants plenty of consideration. Freddy Robinson looks the pick of the remainder.
