VERDICT: Jar Du Desert, whose dam is a half-sister to a Grade 1 hurdles winner in France, appeals on pedigree and could be worth chancing on debut. Ygritte is a half-sister to a couple of winners in this discipline and the Dan Skelton-trained three-year-old is respected receiving 7lb off the boys. Solomoon runs for the same stable and has to be feared, while Obsessedwithyou also has the potential advantage of the sex allowance and is another to monitor in the betting market.
