VERDICT: The preference here is for Alternative Fact, who was a good second over an extended mile at Nottingham, where he was beaten just a neck. Off the same mark today, a repeat of that effort would see him bang on the scene here. My Mate Ted was also narrowly beaten on his previous outing at Windsor and commands plenty of respect being 2lb well-in, while Canoodled is another to note.
