VERDICT: In a field comprising almost entirely of unraced juveniles, a chance can be taken with the Roger Varian-trained Burdett Road. His dam is an unraced full-sister to Rip Van Winkle and a half-sister to Italian Group 3 winner Le Vie Infinite, so he looks capable of giving a good account on his debut. Majestic Pride is a half-brother to the exceptional Farhh and seems a big threat to the selection, but Physique showed promise when finishing second on his racecourse bow earlier this month and should not be taken lightly.
