VERDICT: Eastern Racer should appreciate stepping back up in trip here and gets the vote. The Bushranger gelding was a solid fourth over seven last week and is a three-time winner over a mile, including a course and distance success in April 2019. The trip would be a slight concern for the in-form Tawaazon. He has won over six and seven here recently and ran a cracker over the sprint trip on his last visit. He has to be respected but this might stretch his stamina. Notforalongtime has dropped a nice bit in the weights and ran a decent race on his penultimate outing at the Curragh. He could be an each-way play in this company with cheekpieces tried for the first time.
