VERDICT: Alflaila was a comprehensive winner of the Group 3 Strensall Stakes at York over this distance when last seen in August and gets the vote having been freshened up since. It's no surprise that Charlie Appleby comes into this double handed given the amount of ammunition he has at his disposal and the four-year-old Royal Fleet looks the pick on jockey bookings having won a Listed race at Goodwood last month. The unexposed Ottoman Fleet drops in trip and it may be dangerous to underestimate him.
