VERDICT: More aggressive tactics possibly didn't suit Shouldvebeenaring at Newbury and the Havana Grey colt, who had previously won a sales race here and a Listed contest at Ripon, demands respect on his first try beyond 6f, but preference is for the unbeaten Streets Of Gold. He also won at the August meeting here and overcame soft ground, which he reportedly didn't like, to strike at the Curragh last time. This step up in trip should pose no problems and he gets the nod, while Tyrone's Poppy also merits consideration.
