VERDICT: It could be worth giving another chance to Good Regal, who wasn't given too hard a time once his chance had slipped away at Ripon last month. He had previously shown a good level of progression during the summer months and it may be worth forgiving that minor blip on his profile. Cumulonimbus is respected after his romp at Yarmouth 10 days ago, but that was a big step up on his previous form and he now looks vulnerable under a 6lb penalty. Its was a weak race in which Electress got off the mark in at Brighton at the start of September but she's actually still 5lb below her introductory handicap mark, so she can also be considered as a serious player at this sort of level.
