VERDICT: Pentland Hills was rated just 73 at his best when trained by Chris Wall but he's thrived under the tutelage of Nicky Henderson since then. He's now a Grade 1 winner over hurdles so is highly respected as he reverts to this code on what looks a competitive handicap mark. He is sure to be a popular choice and is worth considering. However, Kasperenko is also very well treated on the pick of his form and looks a more sporting choice. He is effective on the ground and it's notable that he's handled this course well in the past. Tendentious still has some scope for improvement and also merits a betting check along with Ghadbbaan, after his solid effort at York earlier this month.
