VERDICT: Time Step has achieved a decent level of form in three starts to date and the drop back to 6f on his handicap debut is likely to see him a better light following his recent second at Salisbury. The Lamplighter went close in the Stewards' Cup consolation race here last time and he has to enter calculations along with Batchelor Boy, who has been knocking on the door of late, and Cashew, who didn't get a clear run at Windsor when last seen.
