VERDICT: Fillies look to have the advantage here with Lakana De Felliere (9) an obvious contender given how well she has taken to racing barefoot. She has no left-handed references but has yet to disappoint for her new stable and looks marginally better than Lakana De Felliere (9) who won for Alexiane Lepage in Bordeaux earlier this month. Lord Du Guelier (7) will have progressed for his harness return run and, competitively-shod this time, will be no easy touch. Course-and-distance runner-up in early-December, Lord Parker (4) can finish in the thick of things, provided Victor Saussaye keeps him focused.
