VERDICT: Not always the easiest of horses to rein, Karrington (13) is forced to start on the second row but is a category above most here and has never disappointed in the day's configuration. New to Laval but clearly in fine shape, Kassiano D'is (10) returns to racing barefoot and will have his chances from the front line, as should a barefoot and fresh Kalawat (6) who also starts in front. Wonderfully-entered at the limit of earnings and currently enjoying a productive run of form, Kikou D'alexiane (17) has placed just once in 5 here but is still very hard to ignore.
