VERDICT: Maciver comes here in fine form and can complete his hat-trick. The Shirocco gelding was a wide margin winner over fences at Tramore on New Year's Day and followed up over hurdles at Limerick late last month. He is now on the same mark in both codes. Spellacy's Cross ran well back over fences at Fairyhouse last time. Stepping up in trip looked to suit then and he could be the danger despite a 4lb rise. Callmedusty fell on his chase debut and it's interesting that he's tried in handicap company now after a good run over timber last time.
