VERDICT: Tamarisk Tree has finished second three times in a row. He is not well weighted in this stakes race but it nevertheless could be the right race. Mount Darwin needs the race run to suit. He runs on well and should be right there again. Royal Edition has beaten Tamarisk Tree but has more to do at the weights. Still, he should go close on form. Indian Ocean is best weighted and demands the utmost respect after winning her last two on the bounce. If not in need of it after a rest, she could remain unbeaten with Piere Strydom up.
