NRSPOTLIGHT: Produced some fine efforts at Enghien before faulting, after having missed the break, in a 2575m Reims Class B mid-month, but still has the class to finish in the money
VERDICT: Justifiably the wealthiest horse in the field, Koctel Du Dain (7) has form at the highest level and is going to take some beating. King Opera (6), despite being sanctioned, put in a remarkable finish behind Philippe Allaire's colt in the Gr.1 Criterium des 4 Ans and, if focused, should represent the principal threat. The Italian-trained East Asia (8) has yet to deliver in Paris but returns to Vincennes after winning 3 quality races at home and must be treated with respect. Karma Quick (5) is confirmed both over a similar distance and on the main track and, with application, could set the cat among the pigeons.
