VERDICT: Having yet to strike from five attempts over hurdles, reverting to the Flat could see Omniscient return to winning ways. A dual winner for Sir Mark Prescott, the five-year-old has been less than fluent since switching his attention to jumping. Without any obstacles in his path on this occasion, the gelding looks to have strong claims. Killarney winner Seddon faces a stiffer task over this shorter trip but given the manner of his success last time the John McConnell-trained veteran commands maximum respect. Former German winner Weston has yet to get his head in front in this country but shaped with promise when fourth for current connections at Navan in May. The gelding had excuses when badly hampered at Galway on his latest start.
