VERDICT: Winner of this corresponding race in 2022, Temptationinmilan can record another success for trainer Charles Byrnes. The Milan gelding missed last year's renewal as he was later returning to training. However, having won off a mark of 112 last February, the eight-year-old doesn't look badly treated here off 4lb lower here. Ballinrobe runner-up Cahirdown Boy is sure to have been primed for this local meeting. However, the Eric McNamara-trained gelding has shown his best form on quicker ground so wouldn't want conditions to deteriorate further. Marelly has yet to show any worthwhile form over fences but is nicely handicapped on his best form over hurdles. With soft ground very much in his favour, the Philip Rothwell-trained gelding has to be a contender.
